Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare provider
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills:
- Experience in home care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with mobility as required
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with senior care and dementia care practices
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to patient care
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition guidelines
