Introduction to the job
As part of ASML Operations and the ASML x-sector Re-Use organization, the Re-Use Manufacturing organization is actively contributing to ASML’s circular economy and sustainability goals. The scope of Re-Use Manufacturing is to drive and own the re-use of parts, tools and packing materials worldwide in order to accelerate learnings, reduce costs and eliminate waste. Within Veldhoven Operations Re-Use, Global Re-Use Centers for DUV and EUV/SRE, Technical Support and Product Engineering, and a dedicated Recycling team are in place.
Role and responsibilities
Our Global Re-Use Centers (GRC) EUV/SRE is an operational work center located in ASML factories (and timely in a remote location) and contains operators which are executing planned Re-Use work. The System Rebuild EUV (SRE) work center handles the intake, disassembly and re-use of large EUV modules . This execution team inspects and dismounts material in our cleanroom and dispatches it for reconditioning and re-use.
The tasks of the operator are to
Assemble /disassemble modules or parts from EUV
Harvest components, mounting or dismounting components from modules
Pack and unpack material including handling of transport and/or send assemblies
Execute repair or reconditioning work following detailed work instructions
Logistic handling of material in the work center
Execute production work orders to get material moving
Execute basis SAP transaction
Identify all material related information (12NC, BID,….)
Unpack material to ensure identification is possible
Control material data versus booked (SAP) material data
Correct deviating data (e.g. MN’s)
Material evaluation
Check as-is structure with SAP Bill of Material
Identify deltas and correct, where possible
The goal is to improve the material re-use rate in our factories or field, all intended to prevent any material scrap. Learning from reconditioning of parts is equal important as enabling the feedback loop. All activities will lead to structural cost reduction by preventing waste and accelerated learnings.
Education and experience
- A completed MBO 3 or MBO 4 education in logistics/technical specialization
- >1 year of work experience in a logistical/technical position is preferred.
- Work experience related to SAP is considered as a pre.

The Operator in the Global Re-Use Center (GRC) EUV is part of the Veldhoven Re-Use Manufacturing OPS organization. He/she will directly report to the Group Lead (GL) of the GRC EUV. The organization is located in Veldhoven.
