Sales Operations Manager [Nigeria]


 

Our client (a reputable hair store and beauty salon) is currently seeking a Salon Operations Manager to assume the role of coordinating and supervising the salon's day-to-day activities. The desired candidate should possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage the team, devise strategies for enhancing customer service quality, implement best practices throughout the organization, and identify opportunities to increase revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day salon operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and optimize the booking system to maximize efficiency.
  • Organize workshops and training sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance the team's skills and performance.
  • Schedule shifts, manage staff attendance, and handle basic HR-related issues that may arise.
  • Manage payroll
  • Maintain a strong focus on exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and encourage client retention.
  • Monitor the salon's financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Prepare budgets, forecast revenue targets, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Control costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  • Ensure the salon complies with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to maintain a professional and hygienic environment.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams or agencies to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Utilize social media and online platforms to promote the salon's services and offerings.
  • Track and manage salon inventory, including hair products, equipment, and supplies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate stock of hair products and other supplies.
  • Place orders for new inventory as needed and keep stock organized and easily accessible.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in hair care and styling techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc / B.A from a reputable and accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools especially Word and Excel
  • Minimum of 3 years managerial/operations experience in the retail,fashion and beauty industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Communication and interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with salon management software and tools is beneficial.
  • Must reside within close proximity to Lekki Phase 1

Location: Lekki
Working hours: Mon-Sat | 10am-7pm
Salary: N200,000 -N250,000

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month

  • Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Operations: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
