The Role - Te Tūranga

Join us at this exciting time as our mandate expands. This is a result of the new Conduct of Financial Institutions regime (CoFI) which introduces a new regulatory regime to ensure registered banks, licensed insurers and licensed non-bank deposit takers comply with the fair conduct principle when providing relevant services to consumers.

In this role, you'll work across the full breadth of the insurance sector and diversity of providers, where experience working in different parts of an insurance business would be beneficial. You will be responsible for managing the workflow of the Insurance team and supporting the FMA's approach to conduct regulation for the insurance sector.

About you - Ō pūkenga

For this opportunity, you'll need to bring credibility in the insurance sector, a market engagement perspective and a working knowledge of regulation and effective governance.

From product and sales leadership, to legal, accountancy or operational management - your pragmatic business lens and ability to engage will be well utilised when it comes to leading the delivery of regulatory outcomes. Experience as a people leader is preferred.
