Job Description:
Data Scientist with some data engineering responsibilities:
- Make datasets and data sources interoperable using the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles.
- Datamodelling, creating data mappings, implementing standards, clean up data and implementing reference datasets.
- Setting up data architecture and tooling with the architecture team.
- Optimising data flows.
- Independent thinker who can fit well with a team!
- Fluency in a local language (French/Dutch) and English
Skills required:
- Knowledge of health and health data
- Experience with analysis of data sources to apply FAIR data principles
- Experience annotating data and metadata
- Experience with Git, Python and Linux
- Graph databases and semantic web
- Experience with standards (such as OMOP, DCAT, ICD-10, FHIR, SNOMEDCT )
- Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks such as scrum or kanban.
